Meet Jeffrey Graham

As a former Mayor of Camden, SC, current member of the Camden City Council, community leader, and small business owner, he knows times have not been easy for folks over the last few years. Meet Jeffrey Graham

Growing up in Camden, SC, Jeffrey has always taken immense pride and joy in his community. As a former Mayor of Camden, SC, current member of the Camden City Council, community leader, and small business owner, he knows times have not been easy for folks over the last few years. It matters now more than ever that we have elected officials who understand the communities they represent and deeply care about their future. That's why he is running for the State Senate in District 35.  
 
Jeffrey has always been deeply involved in this community. Having grown up here, he has spent his entire life in Kershaw, Sumter, Lee, and Richland Counties, and appreciates that they are rural but growing parts of the state with proud people and vibrant small towns. These communities are a part of the South that is rich in history and tradition and are eager to ensure their future and make their mark on the Palmetto State.
 
As Mayor and a member of the City Council in Camden, Jeffrey's priorities have included economic development, infrastructure, strategic planning, education, and tourism. Senate District 35’s extensive and varied geography will create opportunities to take the lessons learned and successes created in Camden and implement those ideas on a regional level. Jeffrey will work with the citizens and the elected officials in all of these counties to ensure the longevity of our diverse communities and find local and regional solutions to the issues facing rural America.
 
Jeffrey is a graduate of Camden High School 2001 and a 2005 graduate from Presbyterian College of South Carolina with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Jeffrey is a local, small business owner of Graham Realty, Inc. 
 
As a very active member of the community, Jeffrey currently serves: 
–  Former Board of Directors, Goodwill Upstate and Midlands 
–  Rotary Club of Camden, Past President 
–  Kershaw County Board of Realtors, Past President 
–  Advisory Board, First Community Bank 
–  Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce 
–  United Way Housing Partnership 
–  Past President of the Association of SC Mayors (ASCM)

– Board Member, Santee Lynches Regional Council on Government and President of the Regional Development Corporation
 
Jeffrey and his wife, Sara, are the proud parents of a son, Edwards, and daughter, Bailey. They are engaged members of Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church.
